Laurette Clare: What started out as a part-time job in 1998 in a Music Studio was beginning to change. She met musicians and thereafter garnered the deep interest to learn the Bass. A self-taught Bassist, Laurette then joined The Bakerloo Line and Dissidence in 1998. She also doubled up as a Bassist/vocalist. Dissidence, a 4-member band comprising of Martin Liew, Nick Lau and Boon, then cut an album in 2000 and sold their CDs in stores. They joined MTV Band Alert and were listed in BigO Magazine’s Top 10 chart and received radio airplay at the then Passion 99.5FM; now known as Lush 99.5FM. Following that, Laurette worked at WKRZ 91.3fm as a Radio DJ, continuously pushing her love for music in 2002. Together with dbaby Kai & D.T.H (Japan), they collaborated on the new Mix CD album "Neo Flight 360 Vol 1" & "G.Rap Vol.1 Vol.1" which was on sale in many parts of Japan.
